A tubular motor can be moved to any percentage position via the HomePilot. Likewise, a ventilation position can be activated for the devices. This is possible with radio tubular motors, belt winders and with conventional motors that are controlled via an external actuator.
Radio tube motors and electronic belt winders calculate the positions via the set end points. No entry of the running time is necessary here.
Set running time
For external actuators it is necessary to set the runtime once. The running time is the time required by the tubular motor for the complete opening of the shutter. This time is used as a reference for calculating all positions.
Proceed as follows:
- Close the curtain completely.
- Open the curtain and use a stopwatch to measure the time it takes for the curtain to open completely.
- Add 2 seconds and enter this time in the device setting under Runtime.
