In principle, all smart HOMEPILOT products such as the RolloTron devices or the Roller shutter motors premium smart can be registered, operated and automated on the SmartHome Box.
There are differences when the devices are used in scenes and/or triggers.
With a HOMEPILOT product, a target state must always be selected in scenes and/or triggers.
Example: dusk:
In addition to the target position, the RADEMACHER devices also offer the "Direct" function, which is also recommended, as this allows the device to differentiate between the individual automatic functions and use the device's own logic. In the event of dusk, the device is closed by .
With the HOMEPLOT device, only one target position can be selected. The device does not distinguish between the different events. The device moves to the set destination. Automatic statuses are not taken into account; even if the automatic function is deactivated on the device, the device will implement the command.
The result is the same for both devices. The devices close when dusk is reached.
Take the sun, for example:
With RADEMACHER devices, "Direct" is again available for selection and the device's own logic is used. For the sun event, "Exceeded" AND "Undercut" can be selected. The devices know that if the sun is exceeded, the sun position stored in the device must be moved to and that if the sun is undershot, it must be opened to 0%.
HOMEPILOT devices require two triggers for sun. The first trigger moves the roller shutter to a desired position when the sun is exceeded and the second trigger opens to 0% when the sun is undershot.
If RADEMACHER and HOMEPILOT devices are to be controlled by the sun, the RADEMACHER devices can be set to Direct in both triggers.
