Basically, the DuoFern works with a self-configuring routing function. Every 230 V actuator, regardless of whether it is a radio tubular motor, tubular motor actuator or adapter plug, works as a repeater. Without any complicated configuration, they work immediately as helpers.
This means that even larger distances can be bridged and even places that are difficult in terms of radio technology, such as the cellar, can usually be integrated.
The following points should be taken into account when selecting the installation location for the SmartHome Box.
Look for a central installation location in your household to ensure an optimal connection to your DuoFern devices.
Avoid an installation location near metallic surfaces or objects. An installation location in the basement should be avoided if possible.
As electronic devices may also cause interference, you should maintain a certain distance >0.5m from the following devices in particular.
