If you have completely automated your HomePilot system and open your shutters via the appropriate scenes and triggers in the morning by dawn, close in the evening by dusk, react to suns, etc. is exactly what a SmartHome system is supposed to do, BUT if you have e.g. visitors or have a day off in the week, you may want to turn off the automation of certain devices so that you shutters do not close automatically when you sit with your visitor in the living room or open automatically when they are still sleeping.
For this purpose, the Auto - Manu switch is a good choice. With this you can switch any device to MANU, which means that the trigger and the scene will control the device, but it will not implement the command.
The following steps are necessary for this.
Create a scene "Manu" and add the desired devices. Select the target "MANU: Automatic off" for each device in the scene.
Create a scene "Auto" and add the desired devices. For each device in the scene, select the "AUTO: Automatic on" destination.
You can put these scenes on your dashboard and thus conveniently run these scenes on demand.
It is even more comfortable if you trigger these scenes by a transmitter. For this purpose, you can use e.g. our multiple wall pushbutton 9494-1 or 9494-2 or also the hand-held transmitter Standard 9491. You can use these transmitters as triggers, which then trigger these scenes.
You then only need to briefly press the "Manu" button on your Multiple Wall Controller and the automatic system is deactivated.
