The S-line tubular motor is a plug & play motor, which means that the end points are taught in independently by the tubular motor. The prerequisites for this are stoppers or an end strip on the roller shutter curtain and normal fastening springs or rigid shaft connectors.
The motor is then simply moved in the desired direction and stops automatically.
The end points can alternatively be set manually by hand-held transmitter. This option is offered by the hand-held transmitter Standard, the hand-held control unit and the HomeTimer. Please refer to the operating instructions of the respective transmitter.
You can also set the end points manually using the set button on the motor head. The motor is moved in the desired direction using the shutter switch, timer or DuoFern transmitter and as soon as the motor is running, the set button on the motor head is pressed and held until the desired end point is reached. Release the button, done.
Furthermore, the end points can be set with our universal setting cable. Connect the motor in the same color to the universal setting cable and switch on the power supply at the top right. Use the lower switch to move the motor in the desired direction. As soon as the motor starts to move, tap the set button on the top left twice and hold the button down the third time until the desired end point is reached. As soon as you set the lower switch to the middle position, the end point is stored.
