No, this is not possible. The swivel winder Standard DuoFern 2510/2550 is a pure receiving device. This means that it can only perform functions that are communicated to it by a transmitter device, e.g. the HomePilot type 9496-3, DuoFern central operating unit type 9493-1 or DuoFern HomeTimer type 9498.
A sun sensor cannot be connected. If the device is to be controlled by sun, you need a DuoFern sun sensor 9478, which measures the sun and gives the command to move down. The sun position can be set individually for each Standard DuoFern swing winder.
If the HomePilot 9496-3 is used it is also possible to use our DuoFern environmental sensor type 9475. The DuoFern environmental sensor is a wireless weather station that controls your shutters based on weather data. This wireless weather sensor measures: temperature, rain, wind speed, sun position, sun height and brightness. It sends the data automatically by radio to the registered DuoFern receivers.
