In order for your settings or your manual switching commands to be transmitted, you must connect the corresponding DuoFern devices (actuators/sensors) to the central operating unit. In doing so, you can combine the DuoFern actuators into groups.
Activate login mode:
Switch the DuoFern device to login mode according to the respective instructions for use.
Activate the login mode of the central operating unit. To do this, open the menu of your central operating unit by pressing the Menu key (M). Select System settings with the function key On and confirm with OK.
Select menu item 2.1 Connect / Disconnect.
When you have confirmed with OK, you will see how many devices are currently logged on to the central controller.
Now press the Up function key to activate the logon mode of your central operating unit.
The two devices will now search for and find each other. The display of your control panel will automatically jump to the next step. At this point, select the address under which you want to address the device later. The address consists of group and actuator number, which you
can select with the group and member key. E.g. 1G (Group 1) 1A (Actuator 1) If no selection is made here, the next free place is automatically occupied. Confirm entry with the OK key.
In the last step, you have the option of selecting a name from an alphabetical list using the Up and Down function keys. After confirmation with the OK key, the registration is completed. You exit the menu by pressing the M key for 4 seconds.
Activate log-in mode via radio code:
You can use the radio code to directly control DuoFern actuators / radio tubular motors and connect them to the central operating unit. This is a great advantage when operating and setting
devicesthat are difficult to
access. You will find the radio code on the back of the respective DuoFern actuator or on the
motor housing and on a label enclosed with the packaging.
Please note that the radio code is only active for 2 hours after the actuator has been supplied with power. If necessary, briefly interrupt the power supply to the actuator.
Notice!
There are DuoFern receivers with 6 or 10 digit radio code. To be able to register devices with a 10-digit radio code, your central operating unit must be up to date, note the following Post.
Open the menu of your central operating unit by pressing the menu key (M) and select System settings with the Up function key and confirm with OK.
Select menu item 2.2 Radio code.
Confirm with the OK key and enter the radio code of the actuator with the Up/Down function key.
After you have confirmed the last digit of the radio code, the four bars flash.
You activate the connect mode of the actuator by briefly pressing the Up function key once. On appears and the actuator acknowledges. You confirm with the OK key.
Press the Down function key once and call up menu item 2.1. Continue as described above "Activate logon mode".
Login mode via remote login function:
This function also allows DuoFern devices to be set to log on or log off mode. E.g. to register a DuoFern actuator to another DuoFern transmitter such as our DuoFern handheld transmitter Standard. This function can only be used if the desired DuoFern actuator has already been registered with the DuoFern central operating unit.
Select menu item 1.1.2.3 and open with the OK button. Remote login / logout appears in the display.
Now use the Group and Member key to select the desired actuator, e.g. 1G (Group1) - A1 (Actuator 1), to which you want to register the DuoFern transmitter.
Use the Up function key to activate the registration mode on the actu ator.
On appears in the display and the DuoFern actuator acknowledges.
Now switch the DuoFern transmitter to registration mode (see operating instructions for the respective DuoFern transmitter).
After successful login, the DuoFern actuator will acknowledge a second time.
You can exit the menu by pressing and holding the menu button (M) for 4 seconds.
