The sensitivity for the sun can be set in 10 steps on the 9478-1 sun sensor.
Display and meaning:
The setting is displayed via 5 LEDs.
The sensor is very sensitive at the first, lowest level. The sensor closes the roller shutters when there is little/weak sunlight.
The lowest level 0.5 is indicated by the red flashing LED1.
The sensor is very insensitive at the highest level. The sensor only closes the roller shutters when there is a lot/strong sun.
The highest level is indicated by 5 red LEDs.
Acceptance of the currently measured brightness value (recommendation)
If the sensor is attached to the window pane and the sun is shining on the sensor at the intensity at which the roller shutter should be closed, open the sun menu (yellow LED) by briefly tapping the menu button.
Then press the menu and plus buttons simultaneously.
The red LED indicates the level adopted. In most cases, levels 0.5 to 2 are sufficient.
Manual adjustment of the sun sensitivity
You can of course also set the sensitivity manually. To do this, press the menu button until the LED lights up yellow. The currently set limit value is displayed via the red LEDs. The sensitivity can be changed using the plus and minus buttons. In most cases, levels 0.5 to 2 are used.
If the sun is shining on the sensor during manual adjustment, a green LED provides better orientation. If the currently measured value is above the set threshold value, the LED lights up green; below this, the green LED is off. This makes it easy to determine the threshold.
