Up to 16 actuators can be registered to the wall switch 1-channel. The wall pushbutton 1-channel distinguishes between tubular motor actuators, switch actuators and dimmers. Only one of these product types can be registered per wall pushbutton. If, for example, the wall pushbutton is already occupied by switching actuators, it is no longer available for tubular motors and dimmers. The 1-channel wall pushbutton can also be registered with HomePilot® , for example, and trigger more complex scenes.
Activate registration mode:
Switch the respective DuoFern device to registration mode (see respective instructions for use).
Tip. If the DuoFern device is no longer accessible but already registered with the HomePilot®, bridge, central operating unit or the HomeTimer, you can alternatively use the remote registration function.
To do this, call up the DuoFern device in the HomePilot® app and select General in the configuration. The remote login function can be started here.
In combination with the central operating unit type 9493-1, the function can be found in the device settings.
With the older central operating unit type 9493, use the menu item 1-1-2-3.
With the HomeTimer type 9498, the function is to be used under menu item 9-9-8.
To avoid unintentional operation of the registered devices, you should first press and hold the TL key (left) and then add the T1 key (Up key). Keep both keys pressed for 1 second.
The green LED flashes and the login mode remains active for 120 seconds. After successful login, the green LED lights up for approx. 2 seconds.
Notice. The red LED flashes quickly if the login failed. For example, if...
- the maximum number of 16 DuoFern devices has been reached.
- an unsuitable device is registered.
Registration of multi-channel actuators:
Switch the desired device to the login mode (see respective user manual).
Activate the login mode on the wall pushbutton as described above. If a multi-channel actuator is detected, both LEDs light up permanently. The log-on mode remains active for 120 seconds.
Accept (log on) the first channel:
Press any key briefly (> 5 seconds). After successful takeover, the green LED flashes three times. After successful takeover of the channel, both LEDs light up permanently again.
Or:
Skip the first channel:
Press any key for 5 seconds. After successful skipping, the red LED flashes three times. After successfully skipping a channel, both LEDs light up permanently again.
Accept or skip the second channel. Proceed as already described for channel 1.
