The two devices can be used in parallel in one system, but it must be noted that both devices are independent control centers and do not synchronize. You should choose a device where the switching times and automations are set. As a rule, the HomePilot is the central unit that manages switching times, etc. Turn off the functions at the manual control panel to prevent duplicate or triple commands.
To do this, switch the twilight function of the central operating unit to OFF under menu item 1-3-2-3 for the morning and evening. In addition, switch the switching time programs for each group to OFF under Time functions.
Important:
Do not switch the central operating unit to Manual mode, because this will switch off the automatic function in the actuator and not in the central operating unit. As a result, no automatic commands will be executed by the HomePilot.
Tip:
To register devices that are already registered on the central operating unit with the HomePilot, you can use the remote registration function.
To do this, open the menu item 1-1-2-3 in the central operating unit menu. Select the first device that you want to register and then tap the Up button. The actuator will briefly switch once to acknowledge the logon mode.
Now start the login mode of the HomePilot. The device will be displayed as a new device and can be saved.
