You can select "Direct" for the devices within a scene. The internal logic of the actuator is used. In this table you can see how the individual device types behave with the individual events.
Basically you can say that for many commands the function "Direct" is the best choice for normal applications. Only with the "Direct" function the actual information of the event is forwarded to the device.

Actuators Sun protection |
Switch actuators / Dimmer |
Radiator actuator / Room thermostat |
Manual command from transmitters. Excluding push commands |
Conversion according to the command. |
Conversion according to the command. Always executed. For up and down commands, the selected mode is decisive for the conversion. |
Direct cannot be selected. |
Push commands for example from the wall pushbutton
|
Conversion according to the logic of the actuator. Open-Stop-Close-Stop... Push commands should not be used when the blind mode is active. |

Sun From external sensors such as environmental sensor, wireless sun sensor, Troll Comfort DuoFern
|
Sun start > Move down to sun position Sun end > Open to 0% Prerequisite > Sun position must be defined Special feature: If the shutter is already below the sun position when the sun starts, the sun position is not approached. If the shutter is operated manually in the active sun program, there is no opening to 0% at the end of the sun. |
If the sun position is exceeded or undershot, the shutter is switched off.

Wind
|
Factory set to 0% (direction of wind can be changed under automatic wind). With the active wind program no automatic commands and also no manual commands are executed. |
Direct cannot be selected. To use wind, a defined target must be entered in the scene. Command is forwarded as time. |

Rain
|
Factory set to 0% (driving direction rain can be changed under automatic rain). In the active rain program, no automatic commands are executed, manual operation can be used, e.g. to extend an awning again for protection when it rains. At the end of the rain, the actuator remains at 0% and does not move back to the original position. Move down to 100% (direction of travel rain DOWN) Actuator moves to 100% when rain starts. If the actuator was at 0% at the start of the rain, it also moves back to 0% at the end of the rain; other positions are not taken into account. If the shutter was e.g. half closed, the shutter remains at 100% at the end of the rain.
