Depending on the device, different device settings are available in the configuration.
The device settings can be made via the HomePilot app and via the HomePilot interface. The images shown here show the HomePilot app.
Voice control:
The HomePilot currently supports voice control via Alexa and via Google Assistant. In order for the devices to be found by the providers, the device must be enabled for the service by clicking on the service.
Runtime:
The runtime is the time it takes for the dimmer to dim from 0 to 100%. This setting is ONLY valid for commands sent by radio. When the external button is pressed locally, the dimming speed is always the same. For example, if you enter a time of 20 seconds, the dimmer will take 20 seconds when switched on by scene or remote control. On if a percentage value is to be approached in a scene. e.g. 50%, this would then take 10 seconds accordingly.
Mode change:
As a rule, this function has no influence on the operating behavior of the device. Only if the device is directly controlled with UP or DOWN commands, the behavior changes. An example is the hand-held transmitter Standard 9491. If you register this transmitter directly with the switch actuator, the light is usually switched on with the UP key. If, however, you have also registered roller shutters on the same button, this would result in the light being switched on when the roller shutters are opened. However, if you need exactly the opposite function, you can activate the mode change so that the switch actuator switches on with the DOWN key.
Staircase function:
With the staircase function, the device can be switched off after a desired time. The time can be set in small steps from 0.1 seconds to approx. 54 minutes (3276 seconds).
Attention: Some actuators have an additional switch-off pre-warning, which causes the device to flash a few times before switching off. The switch-off pre-warning is activated when an odd value (after the decimal point) is set greater than 60 seconds.
Example:
183.0 = switch-off after approx. 3 minutes
183.1 = 30,15 and 7.5 seconds before switch-off, the actuator switches off once briefly and then on again.
Intermediate value function:
If the intermediate value function is switched on, each switch-on command stops at the set intermediate value. Commands with percentages are excluded. E.g. scene with line 80%In addition,
you can specify whether the intermediate value is to be overwritten at any time via external pushbuttons or whether you specify the intermediate value once at this point.
