If a device cannot be reached by radio, it is displayed pale in the device list and if you click on the device, the yellow sign with the crossed-out transmit symbol is also displayed.
The following causes are possible:
- the distance from the device to the bridge or to the next device is too long.
- Change the position of the bridge by using a LAN port in another room if possible.
- If necessary, use other devices as repeaters. Every DuoFern device with 230 volts helps to transmit DuoFern commands.
- There are sources of interference, such as microwave ovens, computers, electronic transformers, audio and video equipment, ballasts for fluorescent lamps, baby monitors, transmitting antennas from other radio systems (e.g. audio transmission by radio or cordless telephones).
- Switch off sources of interference if possible
- Increase the distance to the sources of interference
- the device to be controlled is without function, voltage is switched off
- Check the power supply of the device
- have the device checked if necessary
- the device to be controlled has been reset
- register the new device at the bridge
- Shielding or reflections interfere with the radio transmission
- Avoid installing the device on metallic surfaces or in the immediate vicinity of metallic surfaces, as these can interfere with the radio signal.
