Activate login mode:
To enable logon mode on the Troll, open the menu with the Menu key (M) and selectSystem Settings with the Settings key.
Open the 9-9-1 menu.
The number of registered DuoFern devices is displayed. In our example, one device is logged in.
Switch the respective DuoFern device to login mode.
Start the login process with the settings button.
On flashes in the display.
After successful registration, the new number of registered devices appears.
Log on the next DuoFern device or return to the menu selection using the menu button (M).
Activate log-in mode via radio code:
If the actuator is no longer accessible, the radio code of the actuator can be used to activate the login mode.
To do this, select menu item 9-9-7 and enter the digits of the radio code. After the last digit has been confirmed, press the Up setting key to start the logon mode.
After the actuator has acknowledged the login mode, continue above with the description Activate login mode.
Please note that the radio code is only active for 2 hours after the actuator has been powered. If necessary, briefly interrupt the power supply to the actuator.
Login mode by remote login function:
This function also makes it possible to put DuoFern devices into logon and logoff mode, e.g., to log on a DuoFern actuator to another DuoFern transmitter, e.g., to our DuoFern handheld transmitter Standard. This function can only be used if the desired DuoFern actuator has already been registered with the DuoFern HomeTimer.
Select and open menu item 9-9-8. The first actuator appears in display 1. Select the desired actuator with the Up setting button and confirm. Four dashes and SET appear in the display. Activate the login mode in the DuoFern actuator with the Up setting key. On appears in the display and the DuoFern actuator acknowledges. Now switch the DuoFern transmitter to registration mode (see operating instructions). After successful login, the DuoFern actuator will acknowledge a second time. You can exit the menu by pressing and holding the menu button (M) until you see the current time in the display.
