You have the option to send push messages or emails via the HomePilot. The push messages are sent to all smartphones where the HomePilot app is operated with the corresponding access data of the HomePilot. In order to receive push messages, the smartphone must be allowed to receive messages.
The HomePilot MUST be registered and online.
Emails will be sent to the email address that the HomePilot is registered to.
Push messages can be sent for triggers and for sensors (from HomePilot version 5.2.xx).
Email can be sent for triggers.
Notifications on triggers:
Create a trigger to send you notifications, for example motion detected by the camera.
Under "THEN", click "Add Notification". If you want to receive push messages only, turn on the feature and enter a subject and message.
You will receive a push message when motion is detected, with the name of the trigger, the time, the subject, the message, and information about the trigger, if applicable.
Push messages are also listed in the app under News.
If you want to receive an email, turn this feature on. In the special case of the camera, you can additionally activate the sending of pictures. In the case, when motion is detected, you will receive a mail with the corresponding subject and message, in addition, 5 images created during motion detection will be attached.
Notification in case of sensors:
Starting with HomePilot version 5.2.xx, sensors can send push messages directly. In that case, there is no need to create a trigger. For example, if you use the DuoFern window/door contact, you can define when a message should be sent in the configuration area. In addition, you can have a push message sent when the battery of the corresponding device is almost empty.
