For some lamps or loads, the load type may not be detected or may be detected incorrectly. In this case, the load type must be set manually. Determine the connected load using the following table.
Example:
You are using an LED lamp with 8 watts. This is a capacitive load according to the table. Turn the controller to R,C. The slider is also used to set the dimming range. If the bulb flickers or buzzes at low or high percentages, you should adjust the range. To do this, refer to the LED and the following table.
If the universal dimmer is used in combination with the HomePilot 2, you have the option of making the settings via the HomePilot.
Load type:
Normally, the dimmer automatically adjusts itself to the existing light source. However, you also have the option to set the load type manually.
Minimum and maximum brightness:
With some illuminants, flickering can occur in the limit range. The two setting options can be used to restrict the working range as required.
Note: Some illuminants may show a slight flickering or flicker despite correct dimmer function. In this case, select an alternative light source.
