TRIGGERS:
In the following videos, we show examples of how to use triggers.
What is a trigger?
Triggers are needed to trigger or automate a scene.
A trigger consists of an event, e.g. time, dawn, rain, wind, etc.
In addition, it can be defined on which days the trigger should be active.
Optionally, conditions can be stored that restrict the trigger.
A trigger can then be linked to one or more scenes.
A trigger can send a notification
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Event:
The event is the basis for each trigger, such as time, dawn, dusk, sun, wind, etc. Also a transmitter control is can be selected as an event.
By default, the HomePilot offers the events dawn (Astro), dusk (Astro) and time.
If new sensors or transmitters are registered, the appropriate events are added.
Source:
Depending on which event you select, one or more sources are available as choices.
Example: If you select transmitter control as the event, all registered transmitters will be displayed.
Other settings:
For certain events, further settings are necessary, such as entering the earliest and latest time for the twilight function.
On which days:
You can define on which days the trigger should be used. For example, you can have the shutters open 2 hours later by dawn on the weekend than during the week.

Linking the trigger to the scene:
The ready created trigger is linked to a previously created scene. The HomePilot works according to the "if-then" principle.
Example: When the Dawn trigger occurs, trigger the Dawn scene upstairs.
Automatic adjustment:
As soon as a trigger is linked to a scene, HomePilot checks whether the devices in the scene are set appropriately and the correct target is selected. If adjustments are still needed, they can be made automatically.
Example: If the Dawn trigger is linked to the Dawn scene, the HomePilot will ensure during the automatic adjustment that all devices in the scene have Dawn Auto on and the devices are set to Direct so that the Iinformation is passed directly to the devices.
