To open the PC interface of the SmartHome Box, you can use the standard browser on your PC. For example, start Firefox or Google Chrome and enter the following in the address bar http://smarthome-box.local in the address bar. In some cases, it is sufficient to enter only http://smarthome-box is sufficient.
If you have changed the host name, enter this instead of smarthome-box. For example http://meineigenername.local
If the PC interface is not displayed immediately, please note the following points.
If the SmartHome Box interface is not displayed, it can alternatively be accessed via the IP address, which must be determined accordingly.
Where can I find the IP address of the SmartHome Box?
The IP address is assigned by your router. Open the router interface and search in the Network or Home network area. Please refer to the router's operating instructions. If the name of the SmartHome Box (smarthome-box) is not listed in the router, at least the MAC address or UID of the SmartHome Box must be entered. The MAC or UID address can be found on the back/bottom of the SmartHome Box.
Another option is a network scan, which displays all devices in the network. This is very easy to do with a smartphone and a corresponding app. E.g. Fing (available free of charge in the store), please note that the smartphone must be in the same network.
