General:
- The sensor is supplied with a CR 2450 battery inserted. Carefully pull the separating foil out of the device. It is not necessary to open the device. Afterwards, all LEDs light up once briefly.
Registration at the desired device:
The sun sensor can either be registered directly to the 5 receivers for sun protection or also registered to the HomePilot.

- Put the device to be registered, such as the radio tubular motor or a tubular motor actuator, into registration mode.
- Then press the menu button on the side of the sun sensor until the menu LED turns blue.
- Tap the + button once, the status LED will flash green and turn to steady green for a few seconds upon successful login.
Attachment of the sensor to the window pane:

- The sensor is stuck to the pane relatively far down on the window. The sensor must not be covered later when the blind moves to the sun position.
- The sensor can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
- The operating buttons should be on the left or on the top

Set limit value
- You have two options to set the sun sensitivity. The easiest way is to attach the sensor to the window pane and then, at the desired sun, accept the currently measured value as the limit value. To do this, press the menu button repeatedly until the LED lights up yellow. Then press the Menu and Plus keys simultaneously.
Alternatively, you can set the sensitivity manually in the sun menu. To do this, simply tap the Plus or Minus key until the desired value is displayed via the LEDs. The LEDs show 10 steps with 5 LEDs. If the LED flashes, it is a half step, if the LED is on, it is a full step. - A green status LED is used for control. If the adjusted limit value is below the actual measured value, the LED is green.

Take over sun position
- Move all registered devices to the desired sun position
- Press the menu key on the sun sensor until the LED lights up yellow.
- Press the menu and minus key simultaneously
- All motors jerk briefly as an acknowledgement and switch on the automatic sun function

- Open all registered hangings completely
- Press the menu button on the sun sensor until the LED lights up yellow.
- Press the plus and minus key simultaneously
- All shutters move to the set sun positions
- Test the sun function
