After successful login, the status LED lights up constantly green and the actuator starts up briefly for confirmation.
NOTE
The status LED lights up red if the login failed. For example, if
- 20 DuoFern transmitters are already registered
- an attempt is made to register an unsuitable device (e.g. another DuoFern actuator)
Activate registration mode via radio code:
In combination with a HomePilot®, the Bridge, the HomeTimer or a DuoFern central operating unit, the Connect actuator can be registered with the respective device by entering the radio code. Subsequently, the remote login function can be used to register other DuoFern devices (e.g. DuoFern handheld transmitters).
Important:
After switching on the power supply, the radio code is active for max. 2 hours. After this time has elapsed, activation using the radio code is no longer possible. Then disconnect the Connect actuator from the mains for a short time to activate the time window again. The DuoFern radio code can be found on the enclosed label. The radio code can be 6 or 10 digits.
Login mode via remote login function:
If the Connect actuator is already registered with the HomePilot®, the Bridge, HomeTimer or the DuoFern central operating unit, you can use the remote registration function.
To do this, call up the Connect actuator in the HomePilot® app and select General in the configuration. The remote login function can be started here.
With the HomeTimer type 9498, the function can be used under menu item 9-9-8.
In combination with the central operating unit type 9493-1, the function can be found in the device settings.
With the older central operating unit type 9493, use menu item 1-1-2-3.
