The local password protection can be activated optionally. The password must contain at least 8 characters, upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. This password is not the same as the one used for registration. Unless you have deliberately assigned the same one.
If you have activated the local password protection and have forgotten the password, the HomePilot must be reset. This will reset all settings to factory defaults. If you have created a backup file, this can be restored.
You can perform a reset by pressing and holding button 2 on the back of the HomePilot for at least 10 seconds. The LEDs will start flashing and the HomePilot is reset to factory default.
It is not possible to request a new password for the local password protection via email.
