In order to be able to operate two 9493 hand-held control panels in the same network, it is not sufficient to create a data backup at the first control panel and to upload it to the second one.
The reason for this is that although the settings are included in the data backup, the radio coding is not. The actuators will not respond to the new control panel because they do not know the coding.
Therefore the following procedure is necessary.
Use the ConfigTool to create a data backup of the registered control panel 9493 and upload it to the new control panel. All programming, names of the devices and device assignment are then available on the new control panel.
Then all devices must be registered with the new control panel. We use the remote login function for this.
Call up the menu item 1-1-2-3 on the registered control panel and select the first device. Group 1 Actuator 1 and tap the Up button. The motor must start briefly. The login mode of the actuator is active for 2 minutes.
Now call up the menu item 2-1 at the new control panel. If you press ok, you will see that devices are supposedly already registered.
Now tap the up button to start the login mode of the control panel. The actuator is found by the control panel, the motor jerks again briefly for acknowledgement.
Since the motor is already known via the data backup, the correct location is suggested immediately, which can be confirmed with OK. In the next point the suitable name is displayed, which is also confirmed with OK.
Now repeat this procedure with each actuator.
You select the next motor at the first control panel, tap, the Up button, then tap the Up button at the new remote control, the two will find each other. Save with OK, confirm name with OK and so on.
