Yes, this is possible, the HomePilot® also supports the push function in combination with addZ light sources or other Zigbee light sources.
Why is it useful to switch the light on and off with a push command?
In many cases, addZ light bulbs, Philips Hue or other Zigbee light bulbs are installed in existing lamp sockets that were previously operated by a light switch. In order to be able to switch on the illuminants always by radio, it is first of all useful to bridge the existing light switch. In order to be able to switch on the light now however also locally still, a light TASTER can be used in connection with our Radio transmitter UP 9497 (FUP) can be used.
Alternatively the Wall switch 1-channel 9494-3 or e.g. the Multiple wall switch 9494-1 can be used. All these transmitters provide a push signal to the HomePilot®.
With each push the light is now switched on or off. With this type of switching, it does not matter whether the light was previously switched on or off by smartphone. The push command provides for an opposite command.
