You have the option to register cameras from the manufacturer Axis, provided that they support the ONVIF protocol T.
The following steps are necessary for the registration.
- Commission the camera via PC interface according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Configuration cannot be done via app.
The user of the Axis camera is root
- Check the camera's firmware and perform an update if necessary.
To do this, click Settings > System > MaintenanceNote
Important! To download a new firmware from the Axis website, you must create a user account.
- Create an ONVIF user.
To do this, click Settings > System > ONVIFEIt is
sufficient that this user is set with the profile Operator.
- To use the motion detection of the camera in HomePilot, please enable Motion Detection in Settings > Apps > Axis Video Motion Detection.
- Now you can start the login mode on the HomePilot, if the camera is in the same network as the HomePilot, it will be displayed as a new device after a short time. Click on login and enter the access data of the ONVIF user that you have created on the camera.
Important: You do NOT have to enter the access data of the camera here.
You can use the camera's motion detection as an event in triggers to trigger complex scenes.
You can also have images sent to you by email via the HomePilot as soon as motion is detected. To do this, the notification is activated in the trigger under THEN.
In addition, all functions of the Axis camera can of course still be used.
Note: In the HomePilot app and on the HomePilot interface, only single images are displayed. You can retrieve a live image via apps from Axis. You can find more information on the Axis website.
