ONVIF =Open Network Video Interface Forums.
The ONVIF standard allows IP-based cameras to communicate with other network devices.
ONVIF works with different profiles that specify which functions are supported in each case.
The HomePilot supports cameras that use profile T. This profile specifies that motion detection is transmitted in addition to the image.
This makes it possible to trigger a complex scene when motion is detected.
Example:
When the Bosch outdoor camera detects movement in the garden after dusk, all spotlights in the garden should be switched on and messages with images sent to the owners.
Note Since not all manufacturers comply with the "standard", we have compiled a list of compatible cameras that have been tested by RADEMACHER and whose integration into HomePilot can be guaranteed. |

Besides the suitable model, it is important that the camera uses the latest firmware. The minimum firmware requirement for each model can be found at the official ONVIF Homepage website.
