Activate login mode:
Before DuoFern devices can be operated and configured with the central operating unit, they must be connected to the central operating unit once. To do this, both devices are switched to login mode.
1. Open the menu of the central operating unit by tapping the menu button (small house) once. Then select Settings > Radio > Register devices > Search devices.
2. As soon as you press the OK key, the central operating unit is switched to registration mode and searches for new devices. The LED at the top right flashes green during this phase.
3. Now switch the respective DuoFern device to registration mode.
4. As soon as the device has been found by the central operating unit, it will be displayed. You can immediately register further devices at this point or end the registration with the OK button.
5. You now have the option of assigning a name to the registered device. Save the name by selecting the small disk at the bottom right and confirm with OK.
6. In the next step, the device is assigned to at least one group. Select the desired group and press OK. The check mark on the right indicates whether the device is in the group or not. The device is always assigned to group 1 first. Confirm the selection by tapping the Down key repeatedly until the disk at the bottom right is dark and then press the OK key.
Activate log-in mode by radio code:
You can use the radio code to directly control DuoFern actuators/radio tubular motors and
connectthem to theHandheld control panel. This is a great advantage when registering devices that are difficult to access. You will find the radio code on the back of the respective DuoFern actuator or on a label.
Notice! In each actuator/radio tubular motor, the radio code is activefor approx.120 minutesafter the power supply is switched on.
7. Proceed as described in step 1, but then select the radio code function.
8. Enter the radio code and then select the disk at the bottom right. Once the device has been found, continue as described in point 5.
